Speaker 1:

You know what voices that you're hearing and what they're telling you to do, and you can't do nothing but just follow the yellow brick road, because he lays it for us.

Speaker 2:

so just hey, everybody. So we have Miss Weta here and she is going to tell us about her business. But first, Miss Weta, what made you put this pop-up on?

Speaker 1:

Well, I've been participating in pop-up shops for about eight years up on. Well, I've been participating in pop-up shops for about eight years and so, um, I have done one, but never wanted this magnitude. And um, I just, you know, we wait for certain people to do things, and I mean, they're going on with life and and there's nothing wrong with that, and so we're waiting for another pop-up shop. And so I thought, thought I'm going to check it out, see what the deal is, and try to put one on myself and try to pull some people together. And it has turned out wonderful because, instead of waiting for somebody, do it, make it happen.

Speaker 2:

I love that. That's what happened. I love that. Yeah, I love that. That's awesome. So well, tell us about your business. Well, what's the name of your business?

Speaker 1:

It's Brown Angel, pizzies, accessories and Ways to Business. And what started the jewelry business was a friend of mine broke a piece of her jewelry and I said I'll fix it, and so I fixed it. And then people were like I like that, I, I want one. So I started making bracelets first, and then, after I retired, I had to find something to do with my hands, and so I prayed and I asked God to give me something. I'm getting chills. I asked God to give me something that I could also supplement my husband's income, because I was retiring barber 40 years. Wow. And I thought jewelry, jewelry, jewelry. So I started doing it, but I was also a masseuse, so God, said pick one Because I was wearing my hands out.

Speaker 1:

So he said, pick one. And so I promised you I'd get you. So jewelry, was it? Actually said, pick one, and so I promised you I'm going to get chills. So jewelry, was it Actually? Jewelry chose me. Really, jewelry chose me.

Speaker 2:

Wow.

Speaker 1:

So that's what happened and been doing it ever since, and I love it. It's like therapy for me. When I'm doing jewelry, I'm not thinking about anything else, not a stress in the world.

Speaker 2:

So how does it feel to have Just follow God and allow that to?

Speaker 1:

How has it?

Speaker 2:

been.

Speaker 1:

I think when you start to come into your own and you start to hear the right voices and you are listening and you're adhering to and you're being obedient, you can live freely because you know who you live for, you know who's leading you, who's guiding you, you know what voices that you're hearing and what they're telling you to do, and you can't do nothing but just follow the yellow brick road, because he lays it for us. You know, and it's like when you allow him to be in control, you really don't have to worry about anything.

Speaker 2:

You just work yourself out. That's it. Wow, that's awesome it does.

Speaker 1:

That is, and it's not like trouble don't come. It's not like the weapons aren't formed. It's not like people don't come for me, but I know now how to stay calm and just wait on him you don't have to react.

Speaker 2:

You don't come for me, but I know now how to stay calm and just wait on him. You don't have to react. You don't have to react. You, you have. You are such an inspiration and you have really promoted and pushed this. You have been so amazing and I know for me and everyone here. We thank you for putting this on.

Speaker 1:

I thank y'all. I couldn't have done it without y'all. Couldn't have done it without y'all. God knew what he was doing.

Speaker 2:

When he said girl, you can do this, so how do you feel? Last question how do you feel now that it's here?

Speaker 1:

The anxiety where I was like worried about everybody and I wanted everybody to make some money and I wanted people to come and prayers answered. Yes, that's all I can say. Yeah. I feel real good, I feel accomplished.

Speaker 2:

I love it, I love it, I love it. And what would you tell somebody that is waiting on someone else to do it?

Speaker 1:

Well, first pray. I would say pray to whoever, because everybody don't believe in God. So pray, and whatever faith you have, just follow that and just stop. I mean in any situation, whether it's a relationship, whether it's finances or something you need to do personally, just do it. You pray about it, ask your creator, the one that leads and guides you, and listen and just follow direction and he's going to do the rest. That's it. I just say pray first, ask for guidance, sound guidance, and follow this. You know, because there's going to be a worrying if you have faith and who is leading and guiding you, just listen and do it.

Speaker 2:

Everything else is going to work itself out. That's right. That's right, that's right. Thank you so much.

Speaker 1:

Isl Weta for being on.

Speaker 2:
